On the field trip, you were asked to choose one disciplinarian role (blue cards) to view the museum through a different perspective. Submit a detailed paragraph about some of the observations you made as a geologist, marine biologist, anthropologist, astrophysicist, botanist, or ecologist. What kinds of exhibits or programs at the museum would've been related to your discipline? Which would have been interesting to your discipline? Why? How would you have answered some of the questions on your disciplinarian card? (click on the card to enlarge it)

Some observations that I made are that depending on the type of animal they would change the habitat and lighting. If I was actually a marine biologist then I would find ocean animals interesting. I would also find about different organisms. I found the fish and all types of those animals were very interesting. I found the notes of what they ate was very cool. It was interesting to see how the different animals interacted with the humans. Some would come your way if you put your hand on the glass. Others would swim away. Which I also saw that some were flash resistant and others weren't.

The evolution article was about are true ansectors (the apes). The earthquake simulator is self -explanatory.It describes historical earthquakes and makes you go through it.

I was a astrophysicist I watched the show on how planets were made suns start small then grow supper big then they start building planets around them. I also saw how are modern continents were formed by splitting and moving plates. I also learned how the earths spinning movement effects things on earth.

I was Anthropologists i saw many things about human history. I found a human made boat in the Jungle place. I went into the earthquake simulator and learned how earthquakes impact humans. The roof of the building was very nice because of all the plants and nature. Its good to humans because trees allow air to the humans and humans need air to survive.

Astrophysicist; I saw a video about space and the planets. It talked about star-birth nebulae, which create stars.

I was an astrophysicist. The show showed how planets moved and different universes. They also talked about how people had different theory about space and time.

I am an ecologist and I am going to wander the question about the living roof. Local animal life helps preserve the living roof because bees polinate the flowers, birds spread seeds, and humans care for the garden.

I would be interested in the aquarium tunnel. There was a lot of different fish and other things. You could feel the starfish and sea urchant. There was a station thing where you could get stung by a eel.

Something interesting is the rainforest. The rainforest had very bright lights to act as the sun's rays. The rainforest was classified by height, such as the roof and forest floor. The living roof has plants growing on a dome shaped roof with some solar panels and sky lights.

The job I picked was an ecologist. Even though I forgot many important facts but a section that an ecologist would be intrested in could be the African environment. I was pretty disappointed because I wasn't able to visit that place. There was a little joke about Africa and that started on the bus when my friends and I were playing a round of "Heads Up."

I would be interested in what types of animals were in the tanks, and the types of plants. Like what types of stingray and types of seaweed. I got to touch a sea urchin and starfish. There were many different colors like red, orange, purple, etc.

On the field trip, I was an astrophysicist and I sorta lost my card, but ya know I feel we only saw the rain forest and the aquarium anyways because we were sitting around most of the time. But, when we were eating lunch, I saw a lady doing some kind of show that had to do with the solar system, but I wasn't paying attention to much because we were in the back, and I was enjoying my food.

I chose to be a marine biologist. I believe that marine biologists would study how animals in the ocean would interact with other animals. In the aquarium, I saw a fish that looked like an alligator, jellyfish, a sea dragon that looked like a sea horse but it was all scaly. I also saw an albino aligator and that was really cool.

Marine biology- if you drink bottled water it's bad. Drink boxed water to save animals. I saw a lot of different types of aquatic animals and I got to interact with an abalony and sea stars. Even a couple of bat rays.
