Copy this exactly how it looks onto your paper and wait for further instructions! Students were given 5 minutes to transform their "4" into anything they wanted. Check out what our class came up with! After learning about our tendencies as individuals working in groups, we spent time brainstorming ways to problem solve when issues arise during group work. We also set goals for this upcoming year. To practice our new collaboration skills, we got to try the building challenge one more time to see if we could get better results. We did- more structures stood this time around!
What rules or guidelines do you think we should follow when working in groups?
**SAROYAN STUDENTS LOST THEIR PRIVILEGE OF POSTING ONLINE TODAY BECAUSE STUDENTS DID NOT FOLLOW POSTING GUIDELINES** 20 marshmallows, 10 toothpicks, 2 straws... Working in random groups, students were given the challenge to work together to build the tallest structure they could with the materials given! What is your opinion about working in groups? Do you like it or not? Why?
