Please give Mrs. Isaac an update of what you are FINISHED with for your design project and what you will still be WORKING ON.
1. WRITING 2. STRUCTURE 3. MINI-MODEL This week's warm up is just to spend time looking at these pictures. After you are done with your descriptive writing, you will be creating a mini-model of your structure for our city map. Hopefully these pictures will inspire you and give you some ideas!
There are hidden words in this picture. How many can you find? Type out all the words you can find and submit.
BRAINTEASERS
Try to take a guess for both the CAR brainteaser and the BUS brainteaser. Submit your answers together- don't forget to explain your thinking (explain why). On the field trip, you were asked to choose one disciplinarian role (blue cards) to view the museum through a different perspective. Submit a detailed paragraph about some of the observations you made as a geologist, marine biologist, anthropologist, astrophysicist, botanist, or ecologist. What kinds of exhibits or programs at the museum would've been related to your discipline? Which would have been interesting to your discipline? Why? How would you have answered some of the questions on your disciplinarian card? (click on the card to enlarge it)

Do you know what a REBUS PUZZLE is? Basically, they are little pictures, often made with letters and words, which cryptically represent a word, phrase, or saying. Can you figure out this example? The answer is: Top Secret. Can you figure out why?
Here are some more rebus puzzles to warm up your brain! How many can you figure out? Write out the ones you think you have solved and submit. It's absolutely ok to guess! TASK 1:
