Problem Solve: I have ten bags of apples which I want to pack into crates. Each crate can carry a maximum of 25 kg. But I only have three crates, and the total weight of the bags is 75kg: 15 kg, 13kg, 11 kg, 10 kg, 9 kg, 8 kg, 4 kg, 2 kg, 2kg, 1 kg Help me find a way to pack all of the bags of apples into the three crates. Type out which weights would go into each crate. Submit when you have determined how to pack ten bags into three crates- make sure none of the crates weigh more than 25 kg. ex. Crate #1: 15 + 8 + 1 = 24 kg |

if the apples are 75kg you can divide 1\3 of the apple bag in each box.1 1\3 of apple bags would be in each crate\box!

That doesn't exactly solve the question, you still have to figure our what would make up 25kg in each crate so there should be more numbers than 1/3 of the crate

You can divide 75 into 1/3 So you can put 25 in each box.

My idea is to put 25 kg in each crate because 75 divided by 25 equals 3.

1 crate will hold the 15 lbs. and 10 lbs. The second crate will hold the 13 lbs. and 11 lbs. and 1 lbs.The third crate will hold 9 lbs. and 8 lbs. and 4 lbs. and both 2 lbs. bags.

Well,it depends on how many bags you have.If you have a specific amount then you have to break them up into groups until you get the right amount for that weight. You can also weigh them to see if it is the right way.

you can put 3 bags into one crate then put 3 bags into another crate and then put 3 bags into the third crate. you will have one more bag of apples left over.
