One day I took a test and I was unprepared I did not know most of the question, I found out that I did not get a very good grade. I thought to myself and I realized that I need to do better. The next week I had studied and was ready to take the test. I knew the questions and I got a way better grade. All I had to do was tell myself that, '' I can do this'' and '' I wont give up''

Well one time I was riding my horse.I was gamed to do the cloverleaf barrel pattern I fell off and fell through the fence and got hurt really bad, right there I thought to my self, I'm never going to be good enough, and I felt like giving up. But then I realized that giving up wasn't going to solve anything.I got right back on and tried again. Sure enough, the days went by and I perfected the cloverleaf barrel pattern I had just failed at.

One time I remember when I had I fixed mindset and I thought that I couldn't do it. I was doing a potrait for class and it was the night before it was due. I couldn't find inspiration in my brain for the drawing that I already had. So, I said that I wasn't a good drawer and I gave up. Until my dad had to come and help me calm down and start thinking of what I wanted to draw, I was having a fixed mindset and I was telling myself that I couldn't do it and that I would go to detention. My dad helped me out of that negitive thinking and had me thinking of what I was going to draw. I started from scratch and I finished my drawing.

A time when I had a fixed mindset is when I was learning how to ride a bike. I said,"I cant do this. I keep falling over!" I still don't know how to ride a bike. I can learn from my mistakes. I will try harder next time I learn how to ride a bike. I haven't been on my bike since the last time I tried to learn how to ride a bike.

One time I was in gymnastics and we went to vault and when I did a running round off backhand spring. My finger got caught under the mat and my finger broke. My broken finger was crossed all the way over the one nearest to it. When it came back up after a few seconds I could not move it and it hurt so bad. I thought that it would never heal. Then one day it did and I was so happy. Then I got back up and I did it again but it was not easy.

One time when I was on a really hard test I started to get very frustrated. I wanted to give up on it and just guess the answer. I was almost about to crack when I said to myself "What did I miss, should I read the question again? Should I just guess? No let me reread the question." So then I reread the question and I tried my best. When I got my test back I got the question wrong but the important thing was that I tried my best and I learned from my mistake and moved on.

One time, I was making homemade tortillas with my grandma. It was a little hard making them circle like then i told my grandma"i can't do this its hard!" but she said that if i really put effort i can make them the way i want them to be shaped like. but the only mistake i made was to stop trying. i felt bad all day after i gave up. it was killing me. the next day i told her i wanted to try again. i tried once more and finally did it. now i know how to make tortillas without guidance of my grandma.

I have used a growth mindset many times in my life. Once I was trying to learn how to play basketball. I was not able to make a 3 pointer or a layup. I kept trying to learn how to make them for months in the cold and in the hot. Then by trying over and over again at home and at the park. I made 5 in a row each day. Now I know how to make layups.

One time I had a fixed mindset was when I was learning to ride my bike and I said, " I'll never learn how to steer straight!".I can ride my bike now, but not very well. Even though on the test said I have a growth mind set everyone has moments like this.

With my game destiny I've had a fixed mind set. Its because I have died a lot. So it has been hard to think that I can beat it.
