On the field trip, you were asked to choose one disciplinarian role (blue cards) to view the museum through a different perspective. Submit a detailed paragraph about some of the observations you made as a geologist, marine biologist, anthropologist, astrophysicist, botanist, or ecologist. What kinds of exhibits or programs at the museum would've been related to your discipline? Which would have been interesting to your discipline? Why? How would you have answered some of the questions on your disciplinarian card? (click on the card to enlarge it)

. I found out that jellyfish change colors whenever a colored light was on them. Also I felt the back of a starfish and sea urchin. I learned that sea urchin are friendly but they'll hurt you with there spikes if you step on them. I was surprised when I saw the T-Rex. I saw so many big fish. What did you see at the museum? So basically a Marine Biologist studies ocean life.

My job is an ecologist. I think an ecogolist would be interested in the rainforest. I think this because an ecologist is interested in preserving the earth and study the relationship between living things and their surroundings. They had a lot of plants, insects, and animals.

I was a botanist and I found the roof very intresting because it showed the dirt that the plants grow. In and it was filled with plants.I also found the Dome interesting because it showed me many plants. I also like the aquarium because it showed me the plan ts that are underwater. That. Concludes my perspective as a botanist. The end.

As a geologist I study the earth, rocks, and areas of water. As a geologist and as Hunter i went to the academy of sciences in san Francisco. The part that i liked as a geologist was the area where the earth split and had some rocks. It was really cool. I had a great time at the California academy of sciences

As an anthropologist, I found the room with native pottery very interesting. It seemed that they liked to decorate their potts as much as we do ours. There was also a board that showed native culture. I also found the rainforest exhibit quite intriguing. There is so much life there and new ways to help humans that have yet to be discovered! So exciting!

I was an astrophysicist but there wasn't many things that I saw because I couldn't go see the space show. I would learn a lot if we did. I didn't get to answer any of the questions I got. My question is do stars move over night and the next night, are they in the same pishion. The part I liked the most about the museum is the earthquake simulator.

What I saw at the meseum was the rainforest. I was an astrophisics. I saw space features like the planet mars, satern, and the sun. I was so amazed about all the planet that a lot of people don't know about. My group went to the top of the building it had beautiful flowers, butterflys, and we looked out in the city. It looked like it was slanted. Last but not least we saw a store for clothes but the wer expensive clothes because they were diziner clothes my mom looked it up on google.

Botanist. The indoor rainforest had many plants such as flowers, vines, and more. Usually, if humid wet heat was natural it would be because the tall trees trap the air inside. The butterflies' wings work like air conditioners because when they close in and out they produce air. It is also easy to breath even though it is humid because of all the plants and trees.
